Hi!
We are excited to welcome you to our little piece of paradise! The Muskegon river
is a big part of our family.
As the kids grew up and since moved away, coming back to "the river" is a summertime must. Growing up in such a magical area where summers were spent learning to swim, swimming, fishing, frog catching, and boat rides with dad are just a sliver of the fun we had! And now, the newest addition to the family is learning from "Papa" how to fish and loves going on boat rides. Their new favorite is to make s'mores in the fire pit!
Jim, dad and part owner of the lodge, has lived on or by the river since he was a
young boy, so, it seemed fitting that his children would do the same.
In 2014, we decided to purchase the cottage that is located right next to mom and dad's property. We saw it as an opportunity to share the joys we experienced growing up while living on the river.
Since the cottage is located near by, Jim is there to help with anything needed during your stay.
